Little Blossoms Nursery is looking for a passionate apprentice to join the team at our Outstanding Nursery

Vacancy

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Toddler/ Pre-school Room (2-4 yrs)

£8.00 per hour

35 hours

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week

Shifts: 8-6pm

Key responsibilities

• To contribute to maintaining our safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children, staff and parents.

• Provide high standards of quality, care and provision within the nursery including the environment, interactions and experiences offered to children.

• To assist with daily supervision and care of the children within your department.

• To cooperate and work effectively with all nursery staff, taking on additional responsibilities/ duties as and when required.

• To be an effective key person carrying out all related responsibilities.

• To develop positive relationships whilst working in partnership with parents and carers.

• Demonstrate good practice with regard to Inclusion and SEND, working in partnership with a variety of agencies and professionals when required.

The Candidate must have the following attributes:

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills with staff, children and parents.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with staff, parents and other professionals.

Essential Criteria:

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
  • Completion of a satisfactory DBS check and registration with the update service.
  • Enrolment on paediatric First Aid course within the first 3 months.
  • Completion of a relevant Safeguarding course.
  • A willingness to undertake any further training including some evenings and weekends.
