Job summary

The Old Station Nursery Group is seeking an Early Years Apprentice in the Wellesbourne area. You will train while gaining hands-on experience in a nurturing environment, supporting children through play and development, under EYFS guidance.

Join a programme that dedicates time for training and practical learning, with the goal of helping children thrive and families feel confident in their care.

Responsibilities

• Dedicate 20% of your week to training, with the remainder spent gaining hands-on experience in a vibrant, nurturing environment.
• Help create a warm, fun, and safe space where children thrive.
• Engage children in play-based activities inspired by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Support children’s developmental milestones and keep parents informed with updates.
• Assist with daily routines, maintaining the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and care.

Pay:£8 - £8 per Hour
Working Hours: 38 hours per week -% off your working week will be off thejob learning.

About our Nursery

Our beautiful nursery in Wellesbourne offers a premium nursery experience with 3 additional enhancements. Forest School, Organic lifestyle and Cookery. Our Wellesbourne nursery children love their days with us and set out on the next stage of their education equipped with the life‑long skills gained from being in a Forest School and organic growing environment, as well as confidence around cookery and handling ingredients. Each room has its own dedicated outdoor space that the children have access to all day, every day. Located on the Wellesbourne campus of Warwick University HRI, on Charlecote Road, just off the A429. There is ample parking on‑site, with a car park on campus.
