A great opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice to join the team at Happy Days Nursery Derriford in Plymouth and undertake their Level 2 qualification in Early Years.

We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for providing quality childcare:

• Do you have the enthusiasm and passion for working in childcare, whilst gaining a DfE recognised Early Years qualification?

• Are you looking for a role whereby you will be mentored and supported along the way?

• Would you like to be part of our team creating a safe and stimulating environment for our children, in line with the EYFS and Happy Days ethos?

Responsibilities
  • Support children in a childcare setting and contribute to a safe and stimulating environment in line with the EYFS.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver high standards of care and learning.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and engage with children in a friendly, professional manner.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Committed to entering a career in childcare and completing the required qualifications to achieve this.
  • Able to interact with young children and have an understanding of child development.
  • Confident to ask for help and guidance, listen to instruction and carry out requests related to all aspects of the nursery.
  • Able to communicate with a wide range of people, including colleagues and parents.
  • Willing to undergo a robust vetting process, including an enhanced DBS Check and Reference History Checks.
