Job summary

RAFAKidz Nursery at MOD Abbey Wood in Bristol is seeking an experienced administrator to join a busy, friendly team. The role involves welcoming visitors, maintaining databases, handling invoices, and supporting fundraising and marketing activities. The position offers a 30-hour week over four days with a pay of £13.21 per hour.

DBS checks are required on appointment and every three years thereafter. Flexible hours and a full job description are available via the RAFAKidz website.

Qualifications

• Experienced administrator with varied administrative experience.
• Proficient IT skills and data management abilities.
• Understanding of safeguarding principles desirable, covered in induction.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and provide excellent customer service.
• Develop and maintain accurate databases and information systems.
• Maintain organisation of paperwork and files within the nursery.
• Ordering supplies and resources.
• Issuing invoices and helping manage outstanding invoices.
• Prepare and submit data for income including local authority, grants and parent fees.
• Prepare and send invoices, cash handling where necessary and banking.
• Assist with marketing of services including fundraising.
