Job description

Setting based in Bushey is looking to hire. Are you seeking progression?

Positions Available:

• Full-time Nursery Practitioner: 40 hours/week, Level 2 or Level 3, Salaries from £19,000 to £20,000 gross per annum
• Full-time Room Leader: 40 hours/week, Level 3, Salaries from £21,000 to £24,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)

Main Responsibilities:

1. Provide high standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children.
2. Support junior colleagues with daily duties, including planning and observation writing.
3. Champion and implement the EYFS in accordance with OFSTED requirements.
4. Assist the Team Leader with duties that benefit the nursery, potentially leading in their absence.
5. Read, understand, and adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure the safe operation of the setting.
6. Maintain professional behaviour both during and outside contracted hours, as it reflects on the nursery.
7. Supervise and interact with all children, prioritizing their safety and wellbeing.
