Service Tasmania is seeking a Nursing Unit Manager for the Paediatric Inpatient and Outpatient units in Launceston. This leadership role involves overseeing care provision, managing resources, and promoting quality patient outcomes within a supportive team environment. The Wombat Ward (Paediatric Inpatient) and Paediatric Outpatient NUM is a leadership role within Women's and Children's Services Hospitals North.
Womens and Childrens Services are focused on providing quality, evidence based patient and family care with a trauma informed lens, and growing the health leaders of tomorrow. Numerous professional development opportunities, including regular, quality Clinical Supervision are offered.

Details of appointment:
Fixed term full time, day worker position, working up to 76hours per fortnight, commencing from 14 December 2025until 21 February 2027
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:$130,203 to $136,295 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
