You will be responsible for actively managing assessing and coordinating the provision of high-quality care daily to meet agreed departmental and professional standards.
This is a hugely exciting time to be joining the Emergency Department at East and North Herts Trust. We have recently launched an ambitious new build to facilitate the developments around GP streaming and delivery of an Urgent Treatment Centre and we see the senior nursing team as integral to the success of this programme.
We are seeking an experienced ED Nurse who is ready to develop into a credible and knowledgeable leader of a busy Emergency Department who can adapt to continually changing situations whilst promoting the highest quality patient care.
This post will require rotation on to night duty.

The post holder will work in conjunction with the other Band 7 staff, provide leadership, advise, and support to the patients attending the department, the services provided by the department.
You will actively participate in staff appraisal, not only for themselves, but also for others, by setting objectives and learning outcomes in consultation with the Lead and Senior Nurse in working to the requirements of the NHS Plan.
You need to be an enthusiastic leader who is passionate about improving service delivery, which ensures we are meeting the needs of patients who require our service whilst meeting the national standards.
You will be required to demonstrate sound clinical knowledge relating to emergency care.
