We are recruiting for a Nurse Team Leader - Swift Ward who share s our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

The Swift Ward is a 26 bedded Orthopaedic unit as well as incorporating General Surgery, Elective Joint Replacements including Private Patients from other Specialities.

Main duties of the job

The position of Nurse Team Leader leads the team on a shift basis and be responsible for you own team of staff.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills whilst developing exceptional standards of care ensuring best practice of Infection Control within a clean environment.

The post holder will have the qualities to lead the team by promoting high standards of care and challenging any behaviours that go against our trust values.

You will also promote and ensure all admissions and discharges are assessed daily and systems updated to ensure appropriate length of stay and safe timely discharges with any required support in place.
