Job summary

We are recruiting for a Nurse Team Leader - Renal Department, Bedford who share our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

You will work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary management-clinical team in renal.

You will demonstrate expertise and leadership in the delivery of care to patients requiring Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT) in the form of haemodialysis.

You will be expected to rotate between the haemodialysis units as service needs dictate and to gain invaluable experience and to participate in the Renal On-call service as necessary.

Main duties of the job

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to develop their existing leadership skills with the full support of the Senior Sister, the Matron and the wider management structure gaining the necessary experience to achieve success at this level and beyond in the future.

As the Nurse Team Leader you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Sister and the team to deliver exceptional standards of safe, effective care; monitoring and maintaining care to ensure that it consistently meets CQC standards.

You will need excellent organisational and communication skills, together with an intuitive, balanced and collective approach to leadership.

Promote high standards of professional practice and high-quality care delivery within Trust and department policies, protocols and guidelines.

The Nurse Team Leader will demonstrate expert clinical skills with specialised knowledge in caring for renal patients.
