Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a motivated registered nurse to join the Cardiology patient flow team at LGI. You will support safe patient placement across Cardiology, Cardiac surgery and CCU, and help drive timely discharge and throughput from ED and theatre lists.

A vacancy within the Cardiorespiratory CSU has become available for a motivated, dynamic, and resilient individual to join the Cardiology patient flow team. The successful individual will have had some experience of managing patient flow and/or patient placement at Band 5 or Band 6 level. The individual should be able to problem solve effectively and efficiently. We are looking for someone who is reliable with good communication skills. Cardiology knowledge is not essential but would be beneficial to the candidate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe patient placement at the LGI site, this will include patients from Cardiology, Cardiac surgery, and the Regional Coronary Care Unit. The candidate will also support the flow through L14 Cardiology day case and the Cath labs. The candidate will help to support the ward teams, discharge team and the CSU Leader on point to achieve timely patient flow from ED, placement of elective Cardiac surgery cases and move patients from Adult Critical Care CSU in a timely manner.
