About The Role

Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for an experienced and passionate qualified Nurse to join our award-winning team at South Africa Lodge. South Africa Lodge is a 99-bedded service providing high-quality care across 6 specialised units supporting residents with complex needs, as well as providing a comfortable and safe living environment. Our approach focuses on individualised care, considering the whole person and their unique challenges, rather than just the diagnosis. We are currently rated GOOD with CQC.

What do you need?

  • Minimum 2 years experience working as a Registered Nurse within the UK with a valid NMC pin (RMN desirable)
  • Experience working with adults with complex needs, including challenging behaviours and mental health issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with positive relationships with colleagues, residents, and families
  • A caring and empathetic approach to residents and visitors
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)

What hours will you work?

Total average of 40.25 hours per week

What will you be doing?

  • Organising and delegating workload to ensure effective delivery of care by skilled staff
  • Assessing, planning, and evaluating care needs
  • Overseeing care provided by Healthcare Assistants & Senior Healthcare Assistants on shift
  • Participating in clinical meetings and reporting concerns to managers
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation
  • Respecting residents' and staff's confidentiality, dignity, and privacy
