About The Role

Cornerstone Healthcare is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our award-winning team at Kitnocks House. Kitnocks House is a 63-bed service providing high-quality care across four specialised units, supporting residents with complex needs and providing a comfortable, safe living environment. Our approach focuses on individualised care, considering the whole person rather than just the diagnosis. We are currently rated 'Overall Good' by CQC.

What do you need?

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin (RMN desirable)
  • Previous experience in complex care (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, forming positive relationships with colleagues, residents, and families
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)

What hours will you work?

The total average of 40.25 hours per week.

What will you be doing?

  • Organising and delegating workload to ensure effective delivery of residents' care by appropriately skilled staff
  • Assessing, planning, and evaluating care needs
  • Overseeing care provided by Healthcare Assistants and Senior Healthcare Assistants on shift
  • Participating in clinical meetings and reporting concerns to managers
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation
  • Respecting residents' and staff's confidentiality, dignity, and privacy at all times

About Us

Cornerstone Healthcare provides specialist care for vulnerable individuals with challenging behaviours related to complex neurodegenerative and mental health conditions.

Residents typically have neurological degenerative conditions such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition, making them unsuitable for standard dementia or elderly residential care homes.

We currently operate three services in Waterlooville, Curdridge, and Mytchett, with two new services opening in Bristol and Birmingham in 2025.
