About The Role

Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our award-winning team at Kitnocks House. Kitnocks House,is a 63-bed service providing high quality care across 4 specialised units supporting residents with varying complex care as well as providing a comfortable and safe living environment.Our approach focuses on individualised care, considering the whole person and their unique challenges, rather than just the diagnosis.We are currently rated Overall Good with CQC.

What do you need?

  • Minimum 2 years experienced working as a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin (RMN desirable)
  • Previous experience in complex care (desirable)
  • Ability to work alone as well as a team and be able to form positive relationships with colleagues, residents and families
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)

What hours will you work?

Total average of 40.25 hours worked per week.

What will you be doing?

  • Organise and delegate workload to ensure effective delivery of resident’s care is carried out by appropriate skilled members of staff
  • Assessing, planning and evaluating care needs or the provision of care
  • Oversee care provided by Health Care Assistants & Senior Health Care Assistants on shift
  • Participate in clinical meetings as required and report areas of concerns to managers
  • Ensure that relevant documentation is maintained in a comprehensive manner
  • Respect the confidentiality, dignity and privacy of residents and staff at all times

About Us

Cornerstone Healthcareprovide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.

Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them inappropriate candidates for dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.

We currently have 3 services based in Waterlooville, Curdridge, & Mytchett with 2 new services set to open in Bristol and Birmingham in 2025.
