Job description

Registered Mental Health Nurse RMN £5,000 STARTING BONUS

Pay: £36,291 - £38,716.08/pa (fte; dependant on experience) + £5,000 BONUS + enhancements

We are looking for Mental Health Nurses - pay advertised is dependant on the knowledge, experience and skills demonstrated at the interview.

RMN essential requirements:
  • Valid NMC pin with no restrictions present
The role:
  • 2 weeks of induction on starting the role
  • Full time (37.5hrs)/ Part-time/ Nights available
  • Acute/ PICU/ Specialist DBT unit for personality disorders settings
  • Promote the best interest of clients and carers and ensure that prescribed nursing care is consistently implemented to your allocated patients
  • Assess, plan and deliver nursing care which considers patient choices and wishes, while acting as the patients' named nurse
  • Carry out patient assessments and evaluate their progress accurately
  • Review and Monitor Nursing Care Plans
  • Evaluate and respond to changes in patient conditions as appropriate
  • Prioritise nursing duties and delegate as appropriate
  • Maintain a continued level of personal professional development in accordance to preceptorship and revalidation
  • Work in accordance with safeguarding adults and children policies and requirements
  • Ensure the requirements of the Mental Health, Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Standards are met
  • Adhere to Medicine Management policies at all times
Pay enhancements:
  • Monday to Friday (nights) 22:00 - 6:30 20% of hourly rate
  • Saturday All Day 20% of hourly rate
  • Sunday All Day 50% hourly rate
  • Bank holidays All Day 50% hourly rate
