NHS Scotland offers an exciting opportunity for a Gynaecology Nurse Practitioner at Queen Margaret Hospital. This role involves providing nurse-led care, working autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, and requires a degree-level NMC Registered Nurse with experience in Gynaecology. Various work hours are available, emphasizing flexibility.
Due to an internal promotion and an increased clinical demand as a result of moving to a new outpatient Gynaecology Unit we have an exciting opportunity for a Gynaecology Nurse Practitioner within NHS Fifes Unit at Queen Margaret Hospital. These are permanent posts, and both part time or full time hours are available.
This post holder will work within the out-patient area providing nurse led care to women requiring Gynaecology assessment, investigation and treatment.
As a Nurse Practitioner, the post holder will work autonomously to deliver specialist clinical care appropriate to the needs of the patient group. They will work closely with other nursing staff and wider multidisciplinary team, to implement programmes of nursing care for individual patients and the client group as a whole.
You must be a NMC Registered Nurse, educated to degree level with post registration experience in Gynaecology. They will have undertaken have gynaecology assessment skills and be a non medical prescriber. In addition you should possess enthusiasm, excellent team working skills with effective communication.
