Gibraltar are looking for a Registered Practice Nurse for their Well Person Unit within the Primary Care Centre.

Starting ASAP - 2 Year fixed term contract

You will be responsible for delivering sexual healthcare to patients who are self-referred, referred by a GP or other Allied Health Care Professional. You will work as an independent practitioner; have knowledge and skills and competence to manage individual patient consultations. You will comply with British Association for Sexual Health and HIV guidance, Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare guidance, and other relevant guidelines.

The Salary range is £45,821 - £53,878 (based on years of reckonable service within the NHS).

Essential Criteria:

• BSc Degree in Nursing
• NMC Registration & recent UK NHS experience
• GUM Qualification or course in STI's eg; STIF NMP qualification & DFSRH
• Post registration qualification in contraception
• Advanced Knowledge of contraception and sexual health
• Experience of working in Nurse lead clinics
• Venepuncture, microscopy and cryotherapy Administering treatments and vaccinations
• Non-judgemental – able to support client choices (including those of young people)
