B2 is a general surgery ward located on the 2nd floor of the Irving building (blue area) at Salford Care Organisation, part of the Northern Care Alliance.
The ward has 18 beds, including two seven-bedded bays and four single rooms. Our professional staff provide 24-hour nursing care.
We focus on quality care and excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our surgical patients.
Services include inpatient care for emergency and elective surgeries across various specialties, working closely with specialist nursing teams to maintain high standards of care.
We seek a qualified nurse with substantial relevant experience, registered with the NMC, ideally with experience in a high-care environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate high standards of evidence-based care, ongoing personal development, and experience in team management, with a willingness to develop management skills further.
As a coordinator, you will support the Ward Manager, manage patient flow, oversee patient care, and support junior staff.
You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, adhering to the NMC code of conduct, demonstrating self-motivation, leadership, and effective communication skills.
