Overview

motivated experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Team at our William Brown Centre, Peterlee. The successful candidate will be an exceptional team player with good communication and interpersonal skills who is enthusiastic and committed to join the team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a sound background in chronic disease management, first contact and telephone triage, assessing treating and reviewing all ages and conditions. The candidate must have at least two years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner and hold a non-medical prescribing qualification. The role requires travel between the main and branch sites of the practice, therefore the successful candidate must have means of transport and drive, mileage will be reimbursed at the company rate. The successful applicant for this post will be joining us at a particularly exciting time as we develop and expand our services.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver care for patients across chronic disease management, first contact and telephone triage, and be responsible for assessing, treating and reviewing all ages and conditions.
  • Travel between the main and branch sites with mileage reimbursed at the company rate; act as a clinical practitioner with autonomous decision-making within the scope of practice.
  • Support opportunities to extend roles in Minor Operations, Women's Health, Joint Injections, as well as educational and mentorship opportunities.
  • Contribute to service expansion and professional development; roles may extend towards Associate Nurse Director level within IntraHealth.
  • Work with the wider multidisciplinary team within the practice and attend regular clinical & Educational meetings.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • At least two years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Non-medical prescribing qualification.
  • Must have means of transport and be able to travel between sites; mileage reimbursed at the company rate.
