Nurse Practitioner

We are working with an NHS Trust, who are seeking a Band 6 Nurse Practitioner to join their Memory Service, based in Waltham Forest.

What's on offer:

Location: Community visits within Waltham Forest

Rate of pay: £27 Umbrella

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Contract: 3 month initial contract with the view of extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support for people with memory problems and their families and have links with many other services working within the local community.
• Provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment for people in Waltham Forest who have memory difficulties.
• Provide support to residential and nursing homes via information and visits.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
• Experience working with dementia patients is preferred; however, a keen interest to work with this client group will be considered.
