Are you a Registered Adult Nurse or Midwife who is passionate about reproductive healthcare?
We are looking for a Nurse or Midwife Practitioner to join the clinical team in our Clapham and London East units - working 21 hours per week over Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays.
About the role:
As a Nurse or Midwife Practitioner you will provide high quality clinical care to our clients across a range of BPAS reproductive healthcare services including termination of pregnancy, STI testing and treatment, contraception, and vasectomy. You will be involved in all stages of the client pathway from consultation through to treatment and will work in all areas of the unit including theatre and recovery. This role will involve providing treatment and clinical information to clients both in person & over the phone.
About You
You will be a Registered Adult Nurse Level 1 or Midwife (practising) with active NMC registration and PIN. You will have clinical practice experience of at least 12 months and have a keen interest in sexual health and reproductive healthcare. Clinical knowledge and experience of safeguarding and Fraser/Gillick competencies are essential for this role.
With excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills you will be adept at caring for clients in a compassionate and empathetic way. You will also be comfortable using IT and Microsoft Packages including Outlook, Word and Microsoft Teams.

Salary: £42,383 - £48,789 per annum depending on skills and experience - pro rata for part time; inclusive of OLW
Shift Pattern: 21 hours per week
Locations:
One unit will be classed as your base unit with travel expenses paid to the second unit, as per the expenses policy.
