BPAS in Luton is seeking a Registered Adult Nurse or Midwife (practising) to join our clinical team. You will deliver high quality care across abortion, STI testing, contraception and related services, both in clinic and via phone, across the client pathway.
The role requires active NMC PIN, 12 months' clinical experience and a compassionate, patient-centred approach. You will work to BPAS policies, with two part-time shift options (27.5 or 22.5 hours) on a rotating schedule.

We are looking for a Nurse or Midwife Practitioner to join the clinical team in our Luton unit working.
We have two roles - 27.5hrs and 22.5hrs. A detailed shift pattern along with salary information can be found below.
You will provide high quality clinical care to our clients across a range of BPAS reproductive healthcare services including termination of pregnancy, STI testing & treatment, contraception, and vasectomy. You will be involved in all stages of the client pathway from consultation through to treatment and will work in all areas of the unit including theatre and recovery. This role will involve providing treatment and clinical information to clients both in person & over the phone.
You will be a Registered Adult Nurse Level 1 or Midwife (practising) with active NMC registration and PIN. You will have clinical practice experience of at least 12 months & have a keen interest in sexual health & reproductive healthcare. Clinical knowledge & experience of safeguarding & Fraser/Gillick competencies are essential for this role.
With excellent interpersonal & communication skills you will be adept at caring for clients in a compassionate & empathetic way. You will also be comfortable using IT & MS Packages including Outlook, Word & MS Teams.

£39,959 - £46,656 per annum depending on skills and experience - pro rata for part time hours

The hours will be worked flexibly over Monday to Saturday within the opening hours of the clinic. A rota will be given 4 weeks in advance.
