Job Description:

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to over 1.15 million people, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.

This is a fixed-term post of 12 months.

Hours of work are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a hybrid working model involving remote and in-person activities at JB Russell House, Gartnavel Campus. Part-time hours are also available, with salary pro-rated accordingly.

This role within the Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions (NMAHP) Directorate involves working with Senior Nurses and Midwives to support workforce planning using nationally validated staffing tools and the Common Staffing Method.

The post holder will collaborate with Workforce Analytics, Professional Governance & Regulation, and Service teams to analyze workforce data, identify trends, and support compliance with the Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Act 2019. Responsibilities include delivering roster master class sessions and supporting the implementation of Real Time Staffing and Risk Escalation.

Applicants must be registered with the NMC and have completed revalidation. Experience with staffing level tools in current practice is advantageous.

Further contact details for the Recruitment Service can be found in the Candidate Information Packs.
