Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of those affected by substance misuse? Do you want to be part of a dynamic, compassionate team that prioritizes recovery? If so, we want to hear from you.

About the Role:

As a Forward Trust Substance Misuse Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP), you will play a crucial role in the clinical care of individuals experiencing issues with drug and/or alcohol use. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users' physical and mental health.
  2. Prescribe and review medication related to substance misuse, including opioid substitution therapy and alcohol detoxification.
  3. Monitor treatment effectiveness, adherence, and safety, making timely clinical decisions to adjust treatment plans.

  6. Support service users with co-occurring mental health or physical health conditions.
  7. Contribute to service development, quality assurance, and audits.
