Job summary

TFP Fertility in Nottingham is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead a team of nurses and sonographers, delivering ultrasound assessment and patient care in line with the HFEA 2008 Act and the current HFEA Code of Practice. The role involves coordinating nursing and sonography services, while remaining clinically active.

The position is full time - 37.5 hours per week with weekends on rotation, and requires strong leadership, hands-on clinical work, and active involvement in planning

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMC registration and degree-level education.
• Minimum of 3 years managerial experience in healthcare.
• Fertility nursing experience is preferable.
• Ability to produce clear comprehensive reports for clinicians.
• Experience with project management and long-term planning.
• Ability to lead a diverse team and manage HR matters.
• Strong communication and training delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise clinic operations across nursing and sonography.
• Ensure treatments comply with HFEA requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain staffing, rotas and CPD for nursing/sonography teams.
• Support budget development and management for nursing services.
• Develop processes to enhance patient experience and safety.
• Lead recruitment, performance reviews and team meetings.
• Oversee data collection, reporting and regulatory compliance.
