A regional mental health provider in Doncaster is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their dedicated mental health clinic. The role involves assessing and treating patients with serious mental health difficulties, managing caseloads, and supporting junior staff. Candidates should possess a nursing qualification and have experience in mental health services. This position supports professional development and adherence to high care standards.
The post holder will work as a member of a small, dedicated clinic providing assessment and treatment to patients experiencing mental health difficulties of a serious and enduring nature. They will be responsible for a caseload of patients who require assessment and monitoring as part of their ongoing treatment within secondary mental health services. The post holder will provide support and guidance to junior staff members and work as part of a wider system of care to ensure a seamless patient journey. They will provide professional advice and support to other agencies and members of the multidisciplinary team and will work to professional responsibilities at all times, adhering to the NMC Code of Conduct and, where required, under the Mental Health Act 1983.
