We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic clinical nurse specialist to join the existing Gynae oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) team as a qualified full-time Nurse Hysteroscopist.

Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be a direct provider of diagnostic hysteroscopy and therapeutic management to women with suspected gynaecological malignancy and must be an accredited hysteroscopist with the British Society Gynaecological Endoscopy (BGSE).
The accredited post holder will be able to provide an autonomous nurse-led service for women referred under the gynaecological suspected cancer pathway for postmenopausal bleeding and other menstrual problems requiring hysteroscopic examination.
The post holder will also function in a range of non-provider roles including educator and researcher. In conjunction with other team members, the multi-professional team and continue develop the provision and quality of the gynaecological services for women referred to the Trust. This will demonstrably reflect the principles of clinical governance, clinical effectiveness as well as Trust and National Policy.
The post-holder is for an competent nurse hysteroscopist who will be able to provide expert care to women referred to the hysteroscopy clinic. The post holder will have the responsibility of ensuring safe clinical practice and confidentiality is carried out in the clinical environment as directed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) The Code, Trust policies and in accordance with the Department of Health guidelines.
