Medacs Healthcare is recruiting for a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor. The role is hybrid, combining home working with assessment centre time, and suits NMC- or HCPC-registered nurses, paramedics, physiotherapists or occupational therapists with UK experience.

You will conduct PIP assessments, analyse evidence, and write detailed reports within quality frameworks. The role offers stable hours, salary £42,000, and a clear career progression path.

Formación

• Registered nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) or physiotherapist, paramedic, or occupational therapist.
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident use of digital systems with 35 WPM typing speed.
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).

Are you an NMC‑registered Nurse or HCPC‑registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist ready for a change from frontline clinical work, but keen to continue using your expertise?

As a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor at Medacs Healthcare, you'll complete Personal Independence Payment (PIP) functional assessments to understand how health conditions affect everyday life. This is a non‑hands‑on clinical role centred on clinical reasoning, analysis and report writing.

The hybrid working model combines home working with time at one of our assessment centres, offering predictable hours, long‑term stability and a healthier work-life balance.

What you'll do

Essential:
