Job summary

Minerva Nursing is seeking a PIP Nurse Functional Assessor in Chester. You will perform assessments to determine how a disability or health condition affects daily life and produce reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to assist benefit decisions.

We welcome registered adult or mental health nurses with UK post-registration experience and a proactive approach. Hybrid roles, with options for full-time, part-time, and flexible hours, are available, with a competitive £39,500

You will carry out assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects their daily life and produce factual reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.

What we look for:

• An NMC-registered adult or mental health nurse with at least 1 year’s broad post-registration experience in the UK
• A proactive and keen learner with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Someone comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports
• An expert clinician comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including complex cases and mental health conditions
