Introduction to the role

As a Dementia Nurse, your responsibilities include assessing individual needs, developing care plans, and ensuring physical, emotional, and medical needs are met. You will administer medication safely, supported by ongoing training to maintain competence.

Supporting and developing the care team is essential. You should be a team player, passionate about fostering a positive team environment. A current NMC registration, knowledge of clinical practices, and experience in care planning and regulatory frameworks are required. Compassion, approachability, and dedication to person-centred care are essential qualities.

Main Duties
