Great Tey Ward at Colchester Hospital is looking to appoint a substantive Nurse Consultant. Applications are being sought from candidates with experience either as a Nurse Consultant or within an Advanced Clinical Practice post.
Great Tey is a Nurse Led medically optimised ward that sits within the inpatient flow CDG. The post holder will also be required to provide clinical leadership and day to day oversight of medically outlined patients who are accommodated within the Orthopaedic and Gynaecology wards (Oldham, Fordham and Stanway). This will be undertaken in close collaboration with the relevant medical consultant teams, ensuring appropriate consultant oversight and support to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care (outliers usually account for between 3-6 patients).
