Job summary

Silvercrest is seeking a motivated Nurse to join our care home in Wales. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to older adults, supporting daily living activities, medication administration, and monitoring residents' health.

You will work a contracted pattern of 38.5 hours across two weeks, mostly day shifts with some night work possible, in a welcoming home that values dignity and resident choice.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current live registration.
• Experience in elderly care preferred.
• Ability to work day and some night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create personalized care plans.
• Provide emotional support and build rapport with residents and families.
• Assess health status of residents and report changes promptly to the care team.
• Communicate with residents' families to provide health updates and wellbeing information.
• Adhere to regulatory standards, policies, and best practices to ensure safety and quality of care.
