Job description

Nurse (Bank), Beech Manor

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate nurses to join our team, where you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents every day. Our nurses are at the heart of our care home, ensuring the highest quality of life for all who call it home.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Beech Manor for our staff bank.

Our nurses are essential to creating a positive culture and environment within our care homes. They play a key role in leading the care, lifestyle, and overall wellbeing of our residents, while guiding and inspiring our teams to promote personalisation, compassion, and dignity.

As a Nurse in one of our homes, your expertise will be at the forefront of supporting our residents' clinical needs whilst promoting emotional and social wellbeing. You will encourage your team to lead with a person-centred approach to all elements of care and support, to help ensure that residents are valued, cared for, listened to, and fulfilled.

We take a practical approach to quality care, including activities such as care planning, implementing and evaluating, documenting and reporting of care through our Nourish platform to ensure that each resident's care plan is accurate, personalised, and up to date, with all interactions and care needs documented.

You will also play a vital role in mentoring and supporting colleagues and junior staff, ensuring they are supported, confident, and skilled in their roles. Administering medication with care and attention, you will follow procedures to keep our residents safe. Above all, you will promote independence and encourage residents to live with purpose and maintain meaningful connections.

To be considered for this role, you will be a qualified Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and a strong knowledge of professional care standards required by the NMC code of conduct, as well as up-to-date clinical practices. You will be aware of Health and Safety procedures relevant to your role and ensure they are followed. Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role, leading a multi-disciplinary team, and acting as the Nurse in Charge.

As well as a competitive rate of pay, we offer all of our employees the following benefits:

  • 'Refer a Friend' Bonus Scheme
  • Rewards & Recognition Programme
  • Free learning and development
  • Paid PVG Check
  • Free uniform & PPE
  • Opportunities for progression
  • Continuous training and development to help you achieve your goals
  • Free Employee Assistance Programme, providing additional help and advice to support your wellbeing, physical and mental health inside and outside the workplace
  • Access to Blue Light Discount Card
  • Concert for Carers
