East Anglia's Children's Hospices seeks an experienced children's, adult, or learning disabilities nurse to deliver holistic nursing care at the Treehouse Hospice in Ipswich. The position offers flexible full or part-time hours, with responsibilities including leading shifts, coordinating care, and ensuring comprehensive support for families of children with palliative needs.
About the Role
East Anglia's Children's Hospices, EACH, are looking for a experienced children's, adult or learning disabilities nurse who want to work within a multidisciplined team,delivering holistic nursing care and support to babies, children and young people with palliative and end of life care needs and their families.
The role will be based at The Treehouse Hospice in Ipswich and is offered on a permanent full or part-time basis with a minimum expectation of 24 hours per week.
As a band 6 nurse, you will lead the shift, taking responsibility for coordinating the team on duty, ensuring that all required care is allocated and actioned for that shift for that shift are in place and undertake day-to-day operational duties as required.
Our service is provided in a 24/7, 365 day environment; shifts include weekend & Bank Holidays
Our standard shift structure is 12 1/2 hour shifts (includes unpaid break)
Day shift - 7:30am-8:00pm/Night shift - 7:30pm-8:00am/Homecare shift - in the community (hours vary).
With enhanced rates as follows;
+30% Saturdays and evenings
+60% Sundays and bank holidays
Competitive on-call rates
