Job description

Are you a registered Nurse Associate, or a Student Nurse Associate coming to the end of your training with children's or neonatal experience or an interest in developing new skills, who is committed to providing the best care possible for preterm and sick newborn babies? As a band 4 Nurse Associate you will be working alongside an experienced team to provide care to a range of babies with a variety of conditions. Our Neonatal unit has 18 cots, which is comprised of 2 intensive cots, 4 high dependency cots and 12 special care cots. We are a designated Local Neonatal Unit, (Level 2) providing care for preterm babies from 27 weeks' gestation and for sick newborn babies. We also have a Transitional Care unit soon to have 8 beds.
