Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Nursing Associate to work with Registered Nurses and the multi-professional team to provide and monitor care, contribute to ongoing assessment and monitor the condition and health needs of people within their care, in partnership with the team and in line with agreed service pathways.

The Nursing Associate works with Registered Nurses and other members of the multi-professional team to provide and monitor care, contribute to ongoing assessment and monitor the condition and health needs of people within their care, in partnership with the multi-professional team and in line with agreed service pathways. Main tasks and responsibilities 1. To provide a wide range of nursing care as determined by service requirements and delegated by a registered practitioner at the level required of a Nurse Associate. All concerns and queries would be escalated to the Registered Nurse on duty who will provide advice and guidance. This list of duties is not intended to be exhaustive but indicates the main areas of work and may be subject to change after consultation with the post-holder to meet the changing needs of the organisation.
