Role: Respiratory Nurse Specialist
Location: Devon
Therapy Area: Respiratory - Asthma and COPD
Salary: Negotiable competitive salary depending on experience, bonus, car/car allowance, NMC/RCN fees, and additional package benefits
Hours: Standard working day would be 8.30-5.30, but this would be dependent on the travel to the practice location. We would advise as a rule, a 6 hour clinic plus travel to and from the practice. The maximum travel we would advise would be 2 hours to reach the clinic location.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Respiratory Nurse Specialist as part of an expanding National Respiratory team, delivering the highest quality of care to improve patient outcomes in line with local and national guidelines working in primary care. As a specialist nurse advisor with an intimate understanding of national treatment guidelines, you will work together with patients and practices to assist healthcare professionals to deliver the most up to date care for their patients.
This is a role with responsibility for a defined geographical area and so requires excellent planning & organisational skills along with confident driving. You will need to be flexible in relation to travel and occasionally stay away from home as required by the business.

Essential:
This role will suit a patient focused NMC registered nurse who can demonstrate experience of working in Asthma and COPD. Spirometry experience. Previous nurse advisory experience is desirable, together with strong interpersonal skills, and keen desire to deliver fantastic results with a consistent patient focus. Excellent planning & organisational skills along with confident driving ability.
