Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is seeking a compassionate paediatric nurse to support a 6-year-old child at home with complex clinical needs.

You will provide nurse-led care including TPN via central line and gastrostomy care, working closely with the child and her younger sibling to promote safety, comfort and development in a warm home environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with up-to-date NMC pin and at least 3 years' paediatric experience.
• Background in Complex Care Nursing.
• Ability to provide nurse-led care at home, including TPN via central line and gastrostomy care.
• Commitment to compassionate, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Support a 6-year-old child at home with complex clinical needs.

What you’ll do

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced nurse to support a 6 year old child in their home with complex clinical needs and will be working alongside the child and her younger sibling.

This rewarding role centres on building a trusting relationship with the child and their family, while delivering high-quality, nurse-led care includingTPN via central line, gastrostomy care, and medication management.You will play a key role in ensuring the children’s safety, comfort, and development, using your clinical skills and judgement to provide consistent, person-centred care in a warm home environment.

Qualifications

What you’ll need

• Registered Nurse Diploma/Degree with an up-to-date NMC Pin with3 years of experience as a fully qualified paediatric nurse.
• A backgroundComplex Care Nursing
• Commitment to providing the best possible care for the client
• To be self-motivated, enthusiastic, caring, and compassionate
• Previous and recentpaediatric complex nurse experience is essential.
• Experience with TPN is essential for this role.
