Tonbridge School is recruiting part-time nurses to join a dedicated Medical Centre team serving around 800 boys, including 450 boarders. You will provide professional clinical care and pastoral support across general practice and acute care, working 24-hour on-site during term-time.
Essential: Registered General Nurse with a current NMC pin. Shifts include day 8am–6pm and night 5.45pm–8am (sleeping shift).
The Medical Centre plays a central role in the provision of outstanding pastoral care at Tonbridge School. The centre, an eleven-bedded unit, is staffed by the Medical Services Manager, a team of Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and General Assistants who provide care 24 hours a day during term-time whilst the boys are resident in School.
There are approximately 800 boys, of whom about 450 are boarders, and the Medical Centre is responsible for their full health supervision whilst at School. The Medical Centre has daily contact with a variety of people both within and outside the School infrastructure, such as Housemasters, teachers, parents and the School Doctors.
We are looking for Nurses to join our team on a part time, term time basis.
Our team of nurses provide professional and compassionate clinical care and support to the boys, covering a broad range of care from general practice nursing duties, acute care and pastoral support.
It is essential that all applicants are Registered General Nurses (either Adult or Child) and have a current NMC Pin and registration.
