Job summary

East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) Milton Hospice is seeking registered nurses to join our 24/7 multidisciplinary team. The role requires current UK NMC registration and a full valid driving license, and offers 24–37.5 hours per week in a permanent, full-time or part-time arrangement.

Salary ranges from £32,073 to £48,117 FTE per annum, with enhanced rates for weekends and bank holidays; a comprehensive benefits package includes NHS pension, enhanced holiday, and ongoing clinical

  • Current UK NMC registration and full valid driving license are essential.
  • Registered Children’s, Adult or Learning Disabilities Nurses with pediatric experience is preferred.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary teams and pediatric care is advantageous.

Hours:24 - 37.5 hours per week

This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in 19 days at 23:59 BST.

The vacancy

Our service is provided in a 24/7, 365 day environment; shifts include weekend & Bank Holidays

Shift Pattern:

Our standard shift structure is 12 1/2 hour shifts (includes unpaid break)

  • Day Shift - 7:30am-8:00pm
  • Night Shift - 7:30pm-8:00am
  • Homecare Shift - In the community (Hours vary)
Enhanced Rates - Weekends, Evenings & Bank Holidays
  • +30% Saturdays & Evenings
  • +60% Sundays & Bank Holidays
  • Competitive on-call rates
Permanent Contract
£32,073 - £48,117 FTE per annum, dependent on experience
Care Salary Band: 5/6
Appointment to Band 5 or 6 is based on nursing skills, experience and knowledge

  • Bespoke palliative and end of life care, clinical skills and long term ventilation training programmes
