Job summary

City and County Healthcare Group Ltd in Maidstone Complex SCP, Lyminge, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-standard nursing care within our packages of care for clients with complex needs.

You will work closely with families and the MDT, following up-to-date care plans, delivering tracheostomy care, ventilation support, and medication administration, with flexible shifts 8 am–8 pm days and 8 pm–8 am nights.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN and at least 3 years of experience.
• Self-motivated, caring, and compassionate.
• Experience in moving and handling.
• Experience with tracheostomies and ventilators.
• Experience with cough assist and deep suctioning.
• Experience with supra pubic catheters and bowel management.
• Experience administering medication and caring for spinal cord injuries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic person-centred nursing care per care plan.
• Work closely with families and MDT with oversight from the complex nurse.
• Follow up-to-date care plans to meet client needs and wishes.
• Provide care including tracheostomy care, cough assist, and ventilation support.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse working within our packages of care, you will provide a high standard of nursing care to our clients with complex needs. You will be expected to work closely with the family and MDT, with oversight from the company’s complex community nurse. There will be an up-to-date care plan, for you to follow to ensure that you are aware of the client’s needs and wishes. You will be expected to provide holistic person-centred care, helping the client to meet their full potential. The role of the package nurse can be extremely rewarding, it also offers flexible working if required.

You will deliver care in line with the care plan which includes the following:

• Tracheostomy care
• The usage of invasive ventilators during the night.
• Cough Assist
• Bowel Management.
• Medication Administration.
