We are looking for a dedicated Nurse to join SkyCare's team in OUR Nursing Home based in London.
As a Nurse at SkyCare, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in the mental health care industry. We have full time day and night shifts available
- Day shifts,12-hour shifts, 8am-8pm
- Night shifts,12-hour shift, 8pm-8am
- Pay rate is £20.5 per hour

Responsibilities:
Here’s some of your tasks:
- You will dispense and administer medication to residents as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records
- You will carry out stock control and ordering of resident’s prescribed medication and medical products
- You’ll need to understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements that are relevant such as Health and Safety, COSHH, and all aspects of the care Standards Act.
- Assessing and evaluating patients' mental health conditions.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitoring and recording patients' progress and vital signs.
- Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educating patients on mental health issues and self-care techniques.
- Adhering to all healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- You must have a valid UK Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
- Active UK NMC PIN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and compassion towards patients.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care.
- Willingness to continuously learn and improve clinical skills.
- An RGN or RMN, with experience in a care home setting caring for older people.
- You will have a kind and caring approach with a passion for delivering the highest possible standard of care and support for the residents.
- You will have excellent communication skills
- You will work well within the team, leading, supporting and training junior staff members,
- You will have previous experience in motivating the team.
