Lent Rise House, in Burnham, provides specialist nursing care for older people, including those living with dementia, in a safe and comfortable environment in the heart of the local community. Our bed home was designed and purpose-built to deliver high-quality nursing care for older people, with a nursing unit on each of its four wings.

We are currently looking for experienced Registered Nurses (RGN and RMN) to join our nursing team at Lent Rise House, working hour shifts.

We have both full and part-time positions available, with the option to work Weekends Only.

Salary: £[amount] per hour with paid breaks, plus £[amount] per hour enhancement on bank holidays.

As a Registered Nurse, your general daily duties will include:

• Ensuring that the NMC code of practice is upheld at all times
• Acting as a role model for all staff and ensuring high-quality nursing care for our residents
• Monitoring and managing the health and well-being of residents
• Involvement in all aspects of nursing care, including personal care
• Implementing, reviewing, and updating care plans
• Medication management and administration
• Maintaining accurate reports and records
• Ensuring residents receive planned or urgent healthcare when required

The successful candidate will have:

• A valid NMC Pin Number
• A passion and commitment for providing quality nursing care and leading our team of care staff
• Prior experience in a care or nursing home is desirable; if not, a good understanding of the nursing home environment is required
• Experience in catheterisation (male and female), wound care, venepuncture, and PEG feeds
• A commitment to high-quality nursing care
• Reliability, trustworthiness, a proactive attitude, and flexibility
