We're currently recruiting a dedicated Nurse to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Compass Group UK&I on a part time basis, contracted to 24 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Assessing and treating patients attending with minor injury and minor illness presentations

Delivering high quality, person-centred care using up-to-date evidence-based knowledge

Undertaking nursing treatments and procedures for patients e.g. wound care, suture removal, ECGs, vaccinations, phlebotomy

Participating in health screening duties and health promotion

Assessing and re-evaluating clinical situations and acting accordingly

Monitoring and improving standards of care through evidence-based practice, clinical audit, research and education

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will:

Have a current Nursing and Midwifery Council Registration

Have a state-approved or recognised Diploma or Degree in Adult Nursing

Have appropriate post-registration experience in a Primary Care environment (however training can be given to the right candidate)

Have good interpersonal and communication skills

Be IT-literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office

Be an effective team member

Be able to work unsupervised

Be able to organise and prioritise workload

Be able to demonstrate continuing professional development
