Job summary

Cranstoun Worcestershire is seeking a Nurse to join our team. The role involves delivering clinical services to people who use drugs or alcohol, promoting recovery and wellbeing, within a flexible, Monday–Friday framework.

Applicants must be a Registered Nurse with active NMC registration (or a qualified Paramedic) and able to work across a range of service hours, on a rota basis. DBS checks and right-to-work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

  • Active NMC registration as a Registered Nurse, or equivalent.
  • Experience with people who use substances or carers is desirable.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and care planning skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a range of clinical services to people who use drugs and/or alcohol to promote recovery and well-being.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while managing clinical risk and safeguarding.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and with partner agencies.

Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the Cranstoun Worcestershire service. We are seeking a Nurse to join our team.

Cranstoun Worcestershire operates the alcohol and drug service across Worcestershire and provides a range of services for individuals using alcohol or substances. Our Worcestershire service also have services available for young people and families through our Here4Youth service. With our central hub in Worcester, we deliver interventions across all six districts, via our shared care scheme and community outreach locations.

You will work flexibly within the service to provide a range of clinical services to people who use drugs and/or alcohol promoting recovery, harm reduction, and improved physical and mental wellbeing. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for people who use service (PWUS), managing clinical risk and safeguarding concerns while working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and with partner agencies.

You will be a Registered Nurse with active NMC registration or a qualified Paramedic or equivalent. You will also have experience of working with people who use substances and/or carers, or another vulnerable groups.

The service operates core hours of Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. The service also offers additional service hours on some days between 8am – 9am and 5 – 7pm. There will be a requirement to cover these hours on a rota basis.

This post will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, checks against the Adult Barred List & Police Vetting.
