Job Description

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Salary: £40,000+

Location: Nuneaton, Distribution Centre.

Essential skills required:

• Proven experience in a logistics operations role,
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong IT and data analysis skills (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
• Degree in Operations Management, Business, or related field (preferred).

Experience & Key Skills

Operational Leadership:

• Oversee manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics operations.
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Monitor KPIs and implement performance improvement initiatives.

Team Management:

• Lead, coach, and develop operational teams including supervisors and floor staff.
• Manage workforce planning, training, and performance reviews.

Process Improvement:

• Identify inefficiencies and implement lean manufacturing principles.
• Drive continuous improvement projects across the supply chain.

Health & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety and accountability.

Budget & Cost Control:

• Manage operational budgets and control costs without compromising quality.
• Analyse variances and implement corrective actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Sales, Planning, Customer Service, and Quality Assurance teams.
• Support new product introductions and process changes.
