Job summary

United Autosports in the United Kingdom is seeking a highly capable No2 Hypercar Mechanic to support the No1 Mechanic in delivering flawless mechanical preparation and trackside execution. You will work on some of the most advanced race cars, including drivetrain, suspension, hydraulics and systems integration, ensuring build quality and race readiness.

The role requires focus, precision and pride in workmanship, with travel to global race events and long hours during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Elite motorsport experience in hypercar, LMP2, GT, FE, F1, WRC or similar.
• Ability to maintain accuracy under time pressure during builds and race operations.
• Clear communication with engineers, technicians and team members.
• High personal standards and disciplined execution in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the No1 Mechanic in full car build and strip processes.
• Carry out mechanical servicing, repairs and component changes under time-critical conditions.
• Maintain build standards, torque procedures, labeling, version control and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with engineers, electricians, systems techs and other mechanics to ensure fault-free car.
• Prepare pit equipment, garage infrastructure and support race operations.
• Ensure tooling, workstations and parts are organized and audit-ready.
