Job description

Full-Time Position for a Number 1 Mechanic
Location: Bridger Motorsport, Tonbridge, Kent

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanic for a lead role at Bridger Motorsport. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a number 1 mechanic position.
  • Capable of working effectively under pressure and managing tight deadlines.
  • Confidence in fully preparing race cars independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Oversee and manage comprehensive car preparation, including setup and set down.
  • Collaborate with engineers to implement setup adjustments.
  • Assist with the setup and set down of all equipment.
  • Strong team player with the ability to lead other mechanics (Number 2 and/or Number 3).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially when interacting with drivers and clients.
  • Must have a personal toolkit.
  • Must be well-organised and presentable.
  • Take pride in maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.
  • Hold a full UK driving license (additional licenses are a plus).

This role will involve working on our British GT programme and selected races throughout the season.
