Job summary

IOTA Group is seeking a Valve Technician for a major nuclear new build project in the United Kingdom. The role covers reception of valves, pre-commissioning checks, calibration, fault diagnosis and rework on new equipment in interface with OEMs, the Contractor, the Employer and the UK Nuclear Safety Authority.

On-site in the UK, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on valve assemblies and actuators, inspect valve condition, identify actions, disassemble/reassemble per drawings,

Qualifications

• Vocational qualification in maintenance, mechanics or electro-mechanics.
• Forklift licence, MEWP/cherry picker licence.
• Vibration analysis ability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect valve condition and adjust components using calibrated instruments.
• Define actions based on inspection results and technical specs.
• Investigate malfunctions to identify root cause and corrective actions.
• Disassemble, replace parts and reassemble per drawings and procedures.
• Verify repaired components and complete the maintenance dossier.
