Job summary

Babcock in the United Kingdom is seeking a Transformation Director for the Nuclear Sector. You will define the long-term transformation strategy and drive sector-wide programmes to ensure growth, operational excellence and delivery of customer missions.

This full-time role offers hybrid working and national base from hubs such as Warrington, Bristol, Plymouth, Clyde or Rosyth. A background in the nuclear sector and strong financial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in large-scale transformation programmes.
• Strong strategic thinking to identify growth opportunities and customer outcomes.
• Experience in nuclear industry, including safety, regulatory and licensing awareness.
• Proven ability to develop, deploy and execute transformation strategy.
• Strong financial acumen to evaluate investments and performance.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term transformation strategy and roadmap for the Nuclear Sector.
• Lead sector-wide transformation programmes, including investment, risks, dependencies and benefits realization.
• Provide strategic insights and assurance to the Nuclear Sector CEO and Executive Committee.
• Support business units to mobilise change and embed improvements across delivery teams.
• Act as the primary interface between the Nuclear Sector and Group leadership on priorities.
