Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is assisting a major defence contractor in Helensburgh to recruit an ex-Submariner or Nuclear Watchkeeper for an off-the-tools Trainer/Instructor role on a static onshore site. The role offers funded training and progression into senior management.

You will deliver hands-on training in both simulator and classroom environments, prepare pre-set lesson plans, conduct safety training and assessments, and help improve internal processes. Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Submariner, Nuclear Watchkeeper or similar.
• Looking to progress into an off the tools, Trainer / Instructor role.
• Commutable to Helensburgh

Responsibilities

• Class-room and simulator based training
• Prepare lesson plans and assess engineers / operators results
• Develop training content and improve course development
• Collaborate with colleagues and internal teams
• Mon - Fri, 37 hour week.
